The Government has taken Initiatives to expedite the process of rehabilitating the ex-LTTE cadres who have surrendered with the Security Forces during the last phase of the humanitarian operation in the North.
Deputy Minister of Social Services & Social Welfare, P. H. Lionel Premasiri made a inspection visit to Vavunia today (01) to get first hand assessment of the programme and to instruct the relevant authorities.
These persons including the disabled will be given vocational training and deployed them in the Northern development initiative as these persons.
