Patriotic Sri Lankans expatriate community in Calgary, Canada celebrated the liberation of our motherland from the brutal LTTE on 30th May 2009 at Alexandra Centre Society Hall.
More than 400 Sri Lankans gathered to honor the all who took part in liberating our Sri Lanka. Roses were offered to fallen heroes by the members of the community. Patriotic songs and dances were performed by Sri Lankan Calgarians. 'Rhidma' group provided the music.
